they call it a fly, because it takes you up to heaven

And now, behold the failed experiment that is:

Terminator Space Marine Paper Mache(I don't care how it's spelled in French) Mask in Ultramarine color scheme:

I think it looks cooler in this first pic. The computer screen gives the eyes a nice glow.

But in reality, it looks THIS BAD=(:(hey, world's first happy/sad smiley, =(:, lol. oh, jeez confusing readers with symbols)

And now, for the random pic of the week,

A tube of superglue that dried up. I snapped it in two

and this is what a piece of it looks like

Sure, it LOOKS like candy. Sure, it TASTES like candy. But it's not candy. Trust me, I had to learn the hard way:

Hmm.. mmm.. yeah. I think I like this pup best. There's the white one, Bret, which is pain in the ass sometimes. One time, the maid was cleaning the porch and the water began to flow down the drain, Bret just lay down further down in drain and the water clogged up. His buttocks effectively served as a dam. Damn. He's also the most alpha, being the only male left. He barks at us a lot and bites a lot too.

Coma (now called JunoJr.) is the most dependant on human interaction. She's the only one that responds to whistling and usually plays with us more than her siblings. But, because she looks like her mom, she turned out a little ugly. Her fur is rougher, and her eyes are regular dark brown ones.

1 is the fattest one. We found a way to tell 1 from 2. 2 likes water. 1 does not. But if water isn't around, we really don't know which one we're playing with. Either 1 or 2 (possibly both, but at different times) is/are my favourite pup(s). They look more like Hector. And they're the cutest, friendliest pups. Plus, you have no idea how cool it is to see 2 play in the water bowl. Every time we fill the bowl up, it jumps in and sorta dances inside till the bowl is only half full. Or half empty if you're a pessimist. I had to play with 1/2 tonight. So I let her 2 feet into the kitched secretly. And she cam whored for a while. Well, whore is a bit harsh. I think Cam Bitch is more suitable.

D'you see the color of her eyes? The middle part is white because of the camera flash. But the outer ring, look at that! Hazelly-brown.

Enough puppystuff. Boring pictureless blog section time, yay.

I got the wrong book thrown at me this week. I asked for something but I got Upside Down, by some Spanish Guy. Eduardo something. Here I was trying to get something to make me feel good about being a privileged human being, instead I got a few chapters of "stupid white people caused everyone poor to suffer". Obama was given this book by one of the South American Presidents or something(I'm keeping it vague here, cause I don't have my fact sheet with me, and it's 3am, and I'm in a hurry). And Obama liked it, so that's enough of a reason for me to like it, right? WRONG. I'm depressed now.

I've barely started, but it's apparent that it may just be what I need to read, not what I want to read. See, I usually do "what if's". Like 'if all the conditions were right, then we'd live perfectly THIS WAY' kinda books. But this book is kinda different. It's not about analysing why some people do things or whatever. It's about cold hard facts that are just plain cold. And hard.

Instead of glorifying the successful man, it shows how uncool it is, because of how it affects the rest of the world. As in 3rd world countries. This usually doesn't depress me, I'm used to hearing of stuff like this all the time, but this writer is really good at making me cry! Ok, maybe not. But I was reading through the first chapter and I came across this line:

"A child in Malaysia is forced to tap rubber to increase the household income." (or something along that line)

I got a little freaked out. I ran to my father and showed him this line. He said this book was written decades ago, there's no more children tapping rubber. And there's no more rubber trees to tap.

I swirled it around in my head for a while. Why did a sentence like that cause me to buzz? I don't know. Maybe it's because Malaysia was mentioned, or because children doing estate work like that doesn't seem like 'child labor' to us. Is it? I don't know. Should it be considered child labor?
I stopped reading that book. But I'm taking it to KL with me to try and finish.

Oh yeah, I'm going to KL. Tomorrow. Afternoon. My brother suggested we lugged the Xbox along. I think it's a terrible idea. I'm not going to.

Ok, I'll try ta blog in KL. But if I don't, then. well. Oh who cares, no one comes here often enough to care anyway.
