We die alone

Look at the light, face the faith that deserts you.
You are the hunted, the victim, the prey and the fallen.
We Die Alone

Thank you for letting me know ^ that. I feel so much better.

Hubris has been proven to you. And if you don't understand, then maybe it's been proven to me.

My idea of a perfect way to waste a perfect Friday:

And I am now immune! But that just means I've gone back to square one. I feel like I'm back in 2008, and I like it here. There's no one to talk to. There's no one to impress. It's just peace and quiet. The kind of peace and quiet I usually spend in my room with the music up and doors locked. It's also the same kind of peace where everyone goes out every so often. It's not that I don't want to go out. It's just I don't like going through all the little motions.

You see what I mean? It's stupid as hell, we all go through the whole process of going out and having fun and going home and the whole time we'd know the outcome. So why bother? I don't know. I prefer it when it's a party, that way we only have to do it once a month and least there'd be something to look forward to(and later backward at).

But I'd really like to go jamming and to a cyber cafe soon. I just don't want to water down the whole 'lepak' experience. Even though that's what holidays are for. That bit of freedom. I have it in spades.

Maybe that's the matter with me. Everyone has either lost that chance at freedom or had a countdown timer attached.

Only after the last tree is cut
And the last river's poisoned
Only after the last fish is caught
Will you find that money cannot be eaten

That might sound silly. Of coarse money cannot be eaten. But what they meant was that no amount of money removes the fact that resources are limited. And in the end, having all that money to sit on, you won't be able to buy a damned meal.
