Open your eyes, or I'll staple your eyelids to your forehead

Guess what this post is about. It's about the two things that are taking up 45% of my life(each). That adds up to about 10% of caring about things that DO matter(whatever that is, I don't care what really matters anymore). The two things are, obviously my dogs(all 7 of them), and my Xbox360.

It's like living a short term dream. When people say they've always wanted to be rich and famous and etc, it's easy. Because you can always be more rich, and be more famous, and be more etc.

But people like me, who dream short term, well, let's just say our dreams are easier to accomplish, but then there's that awkward realism thing that goes on afterwards.

Like, ever since I became a semi-hardcore gamer I always dreamt of owning a kick ass console, and lying down in bed and playing it all day long. Today, I went to Holiday Plaza and bought everything I needed to do just that.

I got home hours later, and guess what.

It worked perfectly.

I always dream short term, because it usually always works. But like I said, it ends badly. When you dream short term, there's no 'happily ever after'. It just happens. And when it does, my brain just jams up. Like, oh my gosh, dreams do come true! Then, after a while, I realize you really have to seize the day. And I always only realize that AFTER the dream falls apart.

So this is a warning to myself, and to all short term dreamers, if any;
It only falls apart if you let it.

In non Xbox360 related news,
my dog, Hector, just said Hi to his kids for the first time! Maybe it was unhealthy of us to not let him see his own kids for over a week, but we couldn't risk a dog fight between the bitch and Hector.

I'm not the kind of person who treats a dog like an animal OR like a friend. I'm in between I guess. I talk to him and spend time with him, probably more time than with any human, which, I know, is sad. But I know he's just a dog, and I expect him to bite the hand that feeds him, because he's not human. So I was a little afraid of letting him near the pups. He once bit a plumber in the ass(it was the plumbers fault for hitting Hector on the nose first!), but other than that he has never shown aggression towards people, He has problems with the neighbors dog though(who bit his ear before).

It ended up ok though, it was nice watching him sniff and prod the pups.

Oh, and my pups are opening their eyes!(finally!) Hence the blog title ^

Whoever can guess the name of the movie that i got the blog title wins a box of air!
(contest open till next week)

Tonight is going to be one LONG night.
