Being the total small town kid that I am, I just said ok. C'mon, I'm the guy who had his first taste of Burger King at the age of 17, waddya expect=(
So, we went for dinner there.
My brother didn't exactly know where it was, except that it was somewhere in Subang Parade. And, lemme tell you, the car park there has some cool gadgetry. Again, I'm from JB and don't go overseas a lot, so all this is completely new to me. Anyway, the car parks have colored lights above each lot, green and red, to indicate vacancy. Quite a good idea.
We knew we found Carl's Jr when we saw this sign.
To top it off, I really was on a diet
It was really cool to see a fast food restaurant be so personal. I mean, cmon, Mcdonalds is such an evil company in comparison.
I had a mushroom burger with the BEST FRIES EVER. Too bad I gobbled it all down before I whipped out my camera=(
Togo order 20? This Togo gets around doesn't he?
Trust me, the fries are super awesome. They don't completely peel them, so there's a bit of natural flavor. A sign in the restaurant showed a picture of the fries : Don't blush, we're just showing some skin. Even I wouldn't have thought of THAT one.
I went and got that Hand Scooped ice cream the next day. I couldn't resist!
OMG lawl. There was another sign that said: Monsters Do Exist, with a pic of some gargantuan burger
Met up with a super old friend from 2005. He was my tour and shopping guide(and a pretty good one at that!) when I was at Midvalley.
Nope, he's not holding a flashlight.
We looked around for hours and watched a movie. A stupid movie. So stupid that I don't think even the pirates should make a profit selling it.
My friend wanted to look at guitars, so we looked at guitars.
Look! Guitars!
I went and spent 70 bucks on a Frank Miller graphic novel. Not too bad, but not worth 70 bucks
That's right, Dark Knight
My KL days were largely spent in my aunt's spare house in Subang Jaya.
I swear, those couches are the most comfortable things EVER!
We took the public bus from Subang Jaya to Pudu Raya. No rhyme intended, really. Hey, maybe I am getting artsy!
20 feet above a road. Wow, nothing to see here.
Lugged kilograms of luggage from one end of town to the other. Thank GOD(and his affiliates) for public buses
Near Pudu Raya, anti ISA slogans a plenty. Way to go!
Why do I keep posting stupid pics like this???
The reason we had to take the bus was because there wasn't any other way to get to Pudu. DUHH.
The 'crudbucket'. No la, this is an awesome ride. Just that you can't pick up chicks in it; something to do with all the rust =P
End of KL post. Sitiawan post next.
