YEAH! Got the Company of Heroes Expansion Pack!
2 New factions: British and Kampfgruppen Lehr (Elite Panzer Division)
I think this is a REALLY good expansion pack, but that's as far as it goes.
The original COH was a bigger thrill(and sometimes still is) than the expansion.
But! In the COH, you don't get to command more than 6 or 7 tanks at maximum.
Because back then, tanks used up a lot of the population capacity points.
But in the expansion pack, the British Main Battle Tank called the Cromwell uses less than 10 Population cap points.
So I was cruising around the map with a fleet of Brit tanks.
And believe me, you do not know how awesome just ONE tank can be on the battlefield
until you play this game.
Having about 10 at my disposal made me feel Godlike.
Having said that, I think the Brits and Kampgruppen Lehr have really lousy tanks.
These are the Brit tanks:
From Left:
Tetrach light tank
-super fast but lightly armed and armoured
Stuart light tank
-quick and has a nice shotgun shell ability but poor against other tanks
Cromwell MBT
-Weaker than the American Sherman and the German Panzer IV, but can be used en masse because they're cheap and don't use up pop cap points
Cromwell Commander
-An unarmed Cromwell tank used to control a fleet of Cromwell Tanks. Which makes them coordinate and move faster
M4 Sherman Firefly
-Borrowed from the American M4 Sherman, but with an anti tank 17 Pounder gun, which can devastate German armor from afar
And this down here, the ugly duckling of the Brit armored division:
The Churhill MKIV.
You can get either the standard MKIV, with a weak gun but tough armor
or
The Churhill AVRE
which trades the weak gun for a mortar spewing cannon
OR
The Churchill Crocodile
which trades the weak gun for a flamethrower
The elite Panzer division is suprisingly dissapointing.
I loved the German army in COH, but this expansion, especially with the name literally meaning elite armored division, is sad.
You can get very powerful tanks, but there's isn't much variety.
There's a Hetzer tank destroyer
a Marder III tank destroyer
a jagdpanzer tank destroyer
a bergetiger tank recovery/repair vehicle
a panzer IV infantry support vehicle
a Ostwind Flakpanzer
and plenty of Flaktraks, halftracks, and armored cars.
I mean PLENTY. Like 10 different kinds!
Seriously, Brits were better.

In real life, people say the Sherman would have won.
But this ain't real life. I hit the Sherman in the engine.
