I don't want to set the world on fire

Honestly, honestly, honestly the small bits of the 1/48 scale Tiger tank I bought are really too small. This smoke canister launcher (that I discarded) consists of 5 tiny parts with hardly any room for super glue. It was imposible for my giant fingers to get it together, so I decided to make my Tiger tank smoke-grenadeless.

Not even with a pair of tweezers could I fix it!


But other than that, the tank shaped up pretty well, considering this is what happened the last time I got a Tamiya model.

I know, it's ugly with all those bits of dried super glue hanging out. I also know it looks hideous unpainted. BUT, I don't care. I did it!

And it wasn't easy, just look at how many parts needed to be glued together and assembled for the caterpillar tracks:

I'm just happy the shape is near perfect(except the smoke grenade canisters).

In more interesting news, something absolutely disgusting happened today.
I was hanging out with the pups. JJ started barking into the drain for some reason. I investigated. There was a small bird inside. I tried to grab it, but it fluttered away. By then all 5 of the dogs heard the bird chirping, but JJ got in first. And here's the sick part.

The puppy friggin grabbed it in it's mouth and ran off. The four dogs chased it. I was just stunned. Because the bloody bird was still chirping. JJ hid behind some plants, so I ran there to get it out of her mouth, but she chewed it twice and swallowed it whole.

I just stood there not knowing what to do. I laughed because it was so unexpected but I nearly vomited thinking of that bird later.
