I think I've found my purpose. I'm not gay. I'm not black. I'm not a jew. I'm not a member of any religion or minority. I'm so free of affiliations that I can choose who I want to support. And I believe in mankind. I haven't read anything on Marxism or Atlas Shrugged. But I understand the outline of both views. I want to defend human rights. Not in the traditional way. I don't believe in equality. I don't believe we're all equal in God's eyes. I don't believe in God's eyes. I believe men will use God to make statements more solid than they appear. I don't always agree with what people say, but I'll defend their right to say what they want to say.
Gays are people. Blacks are people. Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and atheists are people. None of us equal, but all of us human. Do we need an alien invasion to remind us that we're all human? I don't know, but it seems that way. That doesn't matter. Convincing 6 billion people that we're all people is way out of any one person's power.
This is what happens when I watch gay rights movies. Like Milk. Which I just watched.
