I had a bad dream. Before I slept I went through this exercise where I looked at my hands and repeated, "when I see my hands I know I'm awake". This is supposed to help with lucid dreaming. I figured, if I'm going to dream so much, I want to at least be aware of the dream, and then have control over it.
But, as usual, epic fail. I slept off and as usual only had a dream a few hours in. In my dream I was in my home. Back in JB. There were pups, but they weren't mine. Which is weird. They were cockerspaniel-rottweiler hybrids. And they all looked like minature versions of one of my labrador retrievers. I can't remember which one.
We were supposed to pick 2, and sell the rest. I picked one who reminded me of some other dog. It's all a little bit confusing. That dog ran everywhere and I had to catch it and then the dream got violent. I woke up hating myself.
I just had this weird dessert thing called Kelapa-Jelly. It's quite nice. But it's not something I wanna eat everyday. In fact one serving is enough to make you feel like exploding. It's filling.
I don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of the day. I'm painting King Leonidas stabbing a Persian Immortal in the neck from the movie 300 but the Persian Immortal is proving to be a pain in the ass. I can't do cloth well on paint. To much shading. It's prolly gonna end up looking fugly.
I'm downloading, on torrent,
1)Another Batman comic, called The Long Halloween. There aren't enough people seeding it, so it'll probably only be done by the end of the week
2)Hannibal. One of those movies I never got to watch as a kid. If you're asking why I'm watching all these gory films, it's not for the gore at all. I'm just sick of movies with bad acting. And that new film Hannibal Rising had horrible acting. This isn't Hannibal Rising. This is just Hannibal. And Anthony Hopkins is acting. Along with Gary Oldman as Mason Verger. Lol. Now all I need is more Daniel Day Lewis, Russell Crowe, and Val Kilmer movies. I hope this movie is done by Saturday.
3)Lamb of God's new album Wrath. I've listened to the whole thing on Youtube. And some songs remind me of their lousy work from Sacrament. But there are a few songs that feel like how they used to sound before they went mainstream. Overall, I think this is definately a better album than Sacrament. But not as unique-sounding as their 2nd and 3rd albums. This should be downloaded in full by the time I post this.
Ok, gotta go have a listen
