I woke up from a nightmare this morning(well it was early afternoon, but who's keeping track) and realized I had sleeping on my left arm for at least an hour (I had gotten up an hour earlier to turn off the damn phone alarm clock). You cannot imagine fear I felt when I couldn't move my arm. Imagine that. I jumped out of an imaginary nightmare and into a real one. I panicked. everything past my shoulder was numb, and everything past my elbow felt non existent. I remembered how Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) had accidentally slept on his arm, and had to undergo extensive surgery and therapy to get it going again.
Thank my brains for thinking quickly.
I started smaking my hand and rubbing it to get the blood moving again.
Colour returned and slowly it got back to normal.
Fcking scary.
Everything else is pretty screwy with me.
Having almost no cash left is one thing. But not the worst of my problems.
I'm also running out of time. I was supposed to learn up the string theory and finish off some books like the last book of the Dark Tower series.
I can't even make time for music. My sound system is breaking apart. Yesterday the left speaker stopped working, now the right is starting to sound God-awful.
I got an offer for a nVidia 8800GTX 512mb for only RM450. The actual price is close to double of that. 450 bucks is a lot of cash to come up with right now, but a graphics card THAT good (as in two times the power of a PS3, at a fraction of the cost) is a really good deal. Since that deal is just gonna fall apart when the salesman realizes i have RM4.50 not 450, anyone interested can ask me, I'll be your non commissioned middle man.
If I stop and think about it, I don't REALLY need that card. I can play the latest version of Prince of Persia on HIGH detail, just take a look!
Yup, that's how beautiful it looks.
This sorta graphics is called 'cell shaded' graphics. It's rarely used because its hard to get it right consistently. As in some objects in the game will look less pretty than the others because of the detail. But Prince of Persia has pulled it off pitch perfectly.
i'm not going to go into details. THIS is not a gaming post.
And definately not a gaming blog.
i'll be back once i get my head straightened out.
