I don't know what I should call this post.

I sometimes feel really depressed at how meaningless life can be. Especially right after reading/watching something Darwin. Not just how every step taken has come to naught, but how every future step will be equally purposeless.

However, after reading/watching something Greek, that feeling disappears; even if it does just for a moment. Either way, the Greeks have taught me to appreciate the true beauty of art. And I have taught myself to love the beauty of money when in possession of it. And to hate money when it is absent. There is much beauty in money, as there is much beauty in art and music. Art and money have one thing in common; the only things that can presently appreciate them are humans.

That being said, living like a Greek would, but with the knowledge of what great men, great nihilists have said, brings to me an altogether new purpose of life.

For mankind to have overcome natures cruel elimination process and 'survival of the fittest' scheme, I find it a little easier to live, and at least with something to live by.
