Hahhhhh.. I'm getting sick of this. I slept at 4am. The day before I slept at 5am, and before that at 4.30. I get off the computer around 3. But still can't get my mind to shut off for another hour or so. The worst part is, this morning, the dope who changed my DiGi number to Hotlink calls me up and asks me if I'm ready to activate my Hotlink card. At 11 in the morning. What sorta person calls that early. Except Nicolas, he calls at 8 sometimes. It's crazy. Oh, wait I'm not done. then after Mr.LemmeChangeYourNumberToHotlinkSoICanGetMyFiveDollarCommission hangs up, Austin calls and says he wants to jam. Oh fcking hell. My headache is so bad, I can't even look up without my eyes hurting. I have to keep my head in the same direction as wherever it is I'm looking.
The good news is, we re-recorded some song he wrote, and we actually played classic Metallica songs in their entirity. Which is more amazing that you might think. I mean, I haven't touched my home drum set in months, and I've never even played these songs, but when we got together and played them just now, it was magic. 'One' and 'Master of Puppets'. We tried 'To live is to Die', but it got complicated so we started halfway through the song. weird, eh?
Grand Theft Auto 4 is what's giving me these headaches. What sort of game expects you to have AT LEAST 256mb RAM on your graphics card to play the game on absolute basic??!@?!!
It's a real system hog. Worse than Assassins Creed. In Assassins Creed, it only used your system requirements fully when you set it on MAX settings. GTA4 uses 90% of your graphics RAM and on board RAM on MINimum settings. But the game is bloody awesome. I fell in love with the cars. I dressed up my character in James Bonds outfit, stole an Aston Martin look alike and had a chase scene for the shit of it.
More later, all this talking is making me want to play the game summore.
