I will still play with the topedians, just without the Garena clan title. Makes more sense to me. I like the good old days where toped was just an imaginary clan without a leader or ranks. We could trick people into thinking Kua was the boss and he created 12 level55 accounts for the members.
Whatever, enough COD.
Remember a time when A.I. in strategy games were so predictable, you'd be a pro in a matter of days playing the game? That's how I got better at Dawn of War, all I did was remember what the A.I.s moves would be, and how to move faster than it.
Anyway, that's how most people get better at games.
And this worked out perfectly, until I realised, I suck at Company of Heroes!
Unlike other games, the A.I. actually evolves to counter you!
It's unbelievable, and I swear sometimes when the A.I. does something amazing, I just freeze and let him kill me for a while.
Like today, I had 4 hours of fun doing 2 skirmish missions.
The first one was damn nice.
I choose Americans instead of my powerful German army.
I played WITH an 'Expert' Ally, and against 2 'Expert' German enemies.
Both sides started with 1000 points, and had to capture 'victory points' on the map.
So, if my team captures more points than the enemy, his points slowly reduce.
Unfortunately, they got to all 5 points before I could even get to my first.
Embarrassing..
Then I chose 'Armored Company Commander', because I like tanks more than anything.
All I could do was hold the line desperately, all around the map Germans were breaking through.
Just sent some guys up and down the line to mop up any stragglers.
After about 15 minutes of losing, I had a lot of Command points to get some heavy tanks in.
My team had gone from 1000 points, to 130 points...
That was bad.
So I pulled all my tank destroyers, heavy tanks and engineer units to the front in a last attempt before quitting.
I planned everything well and eventually got 3/5 of the points from them!
I had to overpower their defences for each point.
The easiest way was by charging 2 heavy tanks in, then sending the tank destroyers on each flank to deal with their armored vehicles. Charge in 3 engineer units to capture the points A.S.A.P.
It worked!
But that got the enemy mad, soon they sent in THEIR heavy armor, but by that time I had a few M4Sherman medium tanks ready.
It was a really nice match.
Just a few hours back, I did a 3vs3 similar match on a larger terrain this time.
Much longer, but we didn't lose by much.
Because I choose 'Infantry commander' this time instead of 'armored commander'.
Armoured is more powerful. But infantry is cheap, and very fast.
After a 20 minute struggle, me and my allies captured the Hill and the other 2 victory points.
It was amazing. It was straight outta a movie.
I had to get my forces to defend this victory point on top of a hill.
All around me there were Germans coming in.
Lucky I had a few tanks to hit them back.
The cool part was watching the a.i. try to break through.
Both sides.
My jobs was to get my artillery built on the top of the hill and use my tactical map to spot German static and mobile defences.
It was soooo coool!
like, my allies both used mainly infantry units.
And there was this position with 88mm cannons and MG42s defending it.
It was a stalemate, until I spotted the trouble and kaboomed them.
Yeah.
At the end of the day, 3 of my BEST tanks were destroyed...

But we held that hill...
