COH!
this video can only be understood if you are one of the few people who use Germany when playing in Company of Heroes. With the Brits in the expansion, the balance is thrown off completely!!!
And in case you've never played Company of Heroes before, this is a demonstration by THQ and Relic made before the release, so some gun sounds and voice overs are a little different. Watch the whole thing, and REMEMBER to COMPARE IT TO ANY OTHER STRATEGY GAME YOU PLAYED! Don't compare it to COD4 or Warcraft, different category. Also, remember that this is ACTUAL in-game footage, but when actually played, it's much harder.
Loved that bit when the German Tiger Tank came in and killed both American Sherman tanks.
Oh yeah, SPM is going on, just got a 4 day break to study, but I managed to squeeze some alone time with my PC.
Keifer Sutherland (from 24) and Gary Oldman(Commisioner Gordon from The Dark Knight) voice acted in Call of Duty 5. I was watching some footage of a mission briefing from a video review on Gamespot.com when I suddenly recognized Keifer's voice. I checked around and found out they're both on!
They say that the single player is vastly improved. Compared to COD4s 6 hour long, fast paced campaign, this one was tense and well paced, with an emotional storyline and great set pieces.
The multiplayer is bittersweet experience. On one hand, if you've got the original version(or if Garena supports it), you can play throught the campaign and a fun Nazi Zombie mode with up to 4 friends online. The Nazi Zombie mode is cool. You and your friends have to hold off zombies in a building. The longer you last, the harder it gets, but you are rewarded with points which you can use to buy new weapons and ammo with. Ultimately, you and your friends will be overwhelmed by the zombies, so it's just a matter of survival of the fittest.
But that's all folks.
