Trapped!

I spent my Saturday and half my Sunday in my grandma's house.
It's definitely the last place on earth I'd expect to see something so...

pretty....

...and yet so ugly. Look at that. That's the sunset from Batu Pahat.
A sickly mix of yellows and oranges and grays.

Me and my cousins call Batu Pahat many things.
Usually HQ, because it's where most get togethers are held.
but sometimes, when we visit in smaller groups, we call it the land before time.

Not that it doesn't have new stuff.
I mean, recently a mall was built (creatively named BP Mall) which has bowling, books, IT stuff and a hypermarket. And most notably, my neighbour's fast food joint. Which is sort of a spin off from their local George and Dragon Cafe, except it's hundreds of kilometers away.
The weird part of their fast food restaurant in BP Mall is that there is this GIGANTIC picture of Daniel(that's my neighbor) eating a chicken wing and smiling like a jack ass.

I swear I laughed my ass off when I first saw that.
I mean, would you expect a picture like THAT of one of your childhood friends near your grandma's place, which is in the middle of nowhere?!?!
The picture is big enough that you can see it from the road which is nearly 40 meters away.
Too bad I didn't get a snap shot of it. That would have been hilarious.

So, I waited for one and a half days with the best people and food I could've wished for.

To pass the time, I watched nearly half of Spongebob Squarepants season 4 on DVD in ONE SITTING with my little cousins (not the hopelessly noisy ones, these were quiet, lol)

Then, I played 2 chess matches with them.
This is the first time I ever won at chess.
And twice too.
My kill streak was broken when my dad said we were going home.

Actual game with my 10 year old cousin
I'm black by the way...

No wait, I'm caressable brown, but I was using black to play.
Yeah, that's it.

Then something embarassing happened.
My dad reversed into a car.
Luckily nothing broke or scarred.
haha.
tomorrow's my last day online(till SPM's over) and on the drums(still practice with pads I bought)
SIGH...

p.s.

I can't wait for friday!
Eu chuan, watch out, I'm going to squeeze you like the bear I am.
