Some of you may wonder why my blog posts often have completely unrelated titles.
I don't. I sleep well at night with the knowledge that someone out there is looking for the link between my blog post title and the contents. In truth, there's always a link. Just like this weird blog post title. You won't see the connection. But it's there.

this morning, I had the chance to jam Metallica songs with Jackson and Gurdave. My driver, "Pak Cik"(seriously, till I was 9, I thought that was his real name) told me my dad got "saman". Haha. Early in the morning. Crooked cops...

Yeah, we got most of the Unforgiven III right. It was fun. But the rest of the session was tiring. The worst part was getting a taxi. In the hot friggin sun.

At Gurdave's house, I found his "amazingly nearly complete collection of Metallica discography". I took "and justics for all". Because that's supposedly the "last great Metallica album according to Hardcore Metal people. I don't care what they say. If you make a statement like that, you'd blocking out any chance of Metallica making a metal come back, retards!

After listening to half the album, I realized how wrong I was about Lars. Actually how right I was, but it was judgmental of me to say bad things about him. I was right about him being old and worn out. But he was a really decent drummer back in the day. Songs like Dyer's Eve, One, Blackened, and a few others from the "and justice for all" album had awesome drum beats.

Since it was the album AFTER "and justice for all" that got Metallica super famous, I never got the chance to taste their younger, heavier, non-mainstream side. I have to admit, the newer songs from Metallica (the common ones you see on MTV) like "nothing else matters", "entersandman", "unforgiven II", "fuel", etc are catchy and easy to get into. But from a musicians point of view, you'll find that they aren't making songs out of the old passion, but to get better sales. NOTHING from the "black album" was to get better sales. But "load" and "reload" were seriously NOT up to Metallica's superb song writing standards. the "black album" was the in between. Which is why it'll always be my favourite. It had the same heavy-ness that you can find in the first 4 albums, but they mixed it up perfectly with mainstream arrangements and catchy riffs.

When I got back, Hector was feeling lonely...

He says I need to lower my salt intake, otherwise he won't kiss me anymore! I'm salty!

This one is an old picture of me finding balance using Buddhist concentration techniques... On a see-saw..

And this is what a glitch in Crysis looks like.

This Korean guy didn't see me, so I reached out and choked him. Because of the glitch, he still thinks he's patrolling the jungle. What a dumbass.
