I'm rarely the one to spoil other people's day by posting about how cool a band is.
But I'm gonna have to spoil your day.
You'll never guess who sang this song,
or what this song is called.
But the lyrics are intriguing.
And the drumming, OH Lord, the drumming, is just...
Wow.
Let's just presume, the same band that wrote and performed this song,
wrote another song with SO much attention to detail.
Too much, in fact.
The lyrics in that song were THIS COMPLICATED:
"...the number of syllables per line correspond to an arrangement of the Fibonacci numbers."
But that song kicks ass anyway.
But THIS song, in which the metrical foot iamb is used, is much, much cooler.
Well, maybe not.
I've confused too many people before I even got the chance to show you guys the lyrics.
here it goes...
Here from the king's mountain view
Here from the wild dream come true
Feast like a sultan I do
On treasures and flesh, never few.
But I, I would wish it all away.
If I thought I'd lose you just one day.
The devil and his had me down,
in love with the dark side I'd found.
Dabble in all the way down
up to my neck soon to drown.
Prayed like a father dusk to dawn.
Beg like a hooker all night long.
Tempted the devil with my song.
And got what I wanted all along.
.................................................................................................
There's much more of coarse.
But, that would be giving up the identity of the song.
Probably Julian knows who wrote this song.
HARHARHAR.
I took 2 panadols unnecessarily before I posted this.
I'll see you guys when the effect wears out...
