Films

Man, these past few weeks of movie watching have seriously taken their toll on me. Still, I've got room for Wall-e and The Dark Knight. This whole month has been like, "hey, let's go see a movie today". Well not everyday, but every week. First The Hulk, then Wanted, then Hancock, then Hellboy 2. In between those big budget cinema - worthy movies, I managed to get and watch the DVDs of The Love Guru (gimme a pound!), and The Happening. This week on the silver screen, it's Batman : the Dark Knight. Which looks promising, what, with Heath Ledger and all. I've been a Batman fan most of my life. Not a big fan, or a hardcore fan, just a regular fan. In fact, you can see most of my batman action figures in the episode of the purpelist where Greenman got blown up.

And then there's this whole I.U. day thing going on. Jeez, I love it. And hate it. But love it mostly. All I had to do is come up with a theme so brilliant it would blow everyones mind. But then I decided, with all those peoples minds blown, there'd be low ticket sales, so I chose Hollywood instead. Awesome I know. But at first, everyone, save Gurvinder and a few others needed some convincing. So I had to come up with a reason why Hollywood should be the theme. And I did (thank you wikipedia). Since I've got no taste in anything hip, most of the live action will be done by the lower 6's and the upper six's. Not to mention a couple of form 4s. The worst part is getting the presentation done. No thats not the worst. The worst part was using power point for the first time in my life to get it done. No thats not the worst part. THE WORST PART IS PRESENTING THE PRESENTATION! But, hey, maybe I could abuse my rank and get some lower 6-er to do it.

Off that shitty subject, I'm close to finishing Neil Gaiman's Smoke and Mirrors. A compilation of short stories and what-not by the author. It's awesome. From the amazing stories, to his ability to make a story that would never sell; every bit of it is out of this world. Now I have to look for the graphic novel done by him so I have something to keep me entertained...
