OK... my internet is down.
Well in a way.
on Tuesday, lightning struck my house at least 6 times.
luckily, i was just in time to turn off my pc.
Then, i turned off the main plug, but didn't pull it out,
because i thought there wouldn't be much lightning.
I was wrong. i was just chilling,
then there was a flash of light and my voltage regulator
gave a weird noise.
then another bang
and another.
(by this time it was getting from scary to hilarious)
and many more time again.
I thought....man there goes my baby....
but yay, it was completely OK, except the
fact that the LAN cable wasnt being recognised.
long story short, my PC's access to internet
is gone for the moment, so im using a shitty laptop
I cannot start or stop anywhere in explaining
how much I HATE THIS PIECE OF CRAP
(slams retarded laptop keyboard while typing that)
ok. enough of acting like Jeremy Clarkson.
I want to tell the 3 people left who are still reading my blog
(Kua, Ian(i think) and julian)
why I'm not taking this SPM or Mid year exam shit seriously.
I mean, every blog i've been to so far has been the same
"Oh no, only this many days to spm"
so what
let me tell you something.
why should i accept that intelligence is measured by "A's"
seriously
I've seen people who fail in their studies go further in life than
those who succeed.
Im not saying that they went further financially
or in most other aspects that society judges people by
but by happiness, wisdom and a lot of other ways.
I'm also NOT saying I'm NOT going to study for SPM
or mid year.
I AM studying. I'm not going to prove to people i can get A's and stuff
to me, a real exam should be this
they give you a paper with ONE question,
'what do you understand of this subject'
you fill out the paper
with WHATEVER you want.
In ANY Languange you want(for some subjects)
If you don't understand a thing of the subject, just do nothing
because maybe, thats the subject you dont want to know anything about
and you dont want to grow up and get a job related to that subject.
of coarse this idea is completely retarded.
because
1)its coming from me!
2)i'm under influence of Zeke's fart gas
3)I might be saying all this as an excuse to not study
4) there will be a lot of uneducated people because they wont take it seriously enough
5)a lot of other reasons...
6)real exams are actually necessary
7)it's actually a retarded idea
but I know i have a point somewhere
because
1)I really like this idea
2)it beats SPM
3)it completely eliminates grading because there is no marking scheme
therefore there will be a different way of judging intelligence
4)student get to choose what they REALLY want to be doing
the rest of their lives
5)people who are weak in a subjects don't have to be brought down by it
6)i like this idea
7)we will get very professional and specialized people
who love their jobs in the future
but no one to sweep the streets
